As sad as it is, there are, historically speaking, several examples of people's struggle for independence and self-determination. Fair struggles to protect languages, cultures, ancient traditions. This may be hard for us to understand, easy to be overlooked and barely mentioned since for most of us, these are given traits.
Some of these struggles are ancient, but some are happening just now. Let's see...
Israel is celebrating it's 60th birthday.. is there really something to be celebrated? Really, they took over a land that does not belong to them.. and they keep the Palestinians as foreigners in THEIR land.. Killing thousands of civilians every year, having them searched at least twice on their way to work or school ( God save us from terrorist children), the fact that they have visas to enter in their own country!!! not to mention the boycott isrealis do with electricity and water in Gaza.. claiming this is the only way to stop terrorists!!!
Tibetan monks were slaughtered a couple of months ago by the Chinese government which btw, helps the genocide in Sudan by supporting the murderer government at the UN, because (oh surprise! ) they provide them with oil.. . They're celebrating the Olympic games in Beijing this summer.. then again.. what's there to celebrate??
The American government claims that the Iraq war can be won.. by 2013?? Are they kidding??
The hundreds of people imprisoned for political reasons all over the world..
and on and on...
This song.. sorts of talk about this shit.. but with a pretty good rhytm.. that almost makes you forget what it's about...

De hecho deberíamos estar de luto perpetuo, sin embargo, creo que es mejor la acción, alzar la voz (auqnue sea en inglés, ¿porqué en inglés amigui?) que nada. Y sin ambargo la gente celebra sus "triunfos" egoistas y egocéntricos...

Estar de luto perpetuo seria algo demasiado pasivo... deberiamos de luchar por un verdadero cambio donde la opresion y las atrocidades que existen en todo el mundo alentadas y alimentadas por la burguesia dejaran de existir, es decir, a tirar a la burguesia en todos y cada uno de los paises del mundo.
Como decimos los comunistas: ¡Proletarios del mundo, unidos!

2013 orale! hasta parece que es un gran, gran negocio ese de andar dando guerra en todos lados, o espera, sí que es un gran negocio (para mayor información vean el documental Zeitgeist, es genial y está en you tube)
también es negocio paliar la pobreza, crear crisis, esclavizar, discrminar y oprimir a los oprimibles.
Según Marx tiene que ver con el sistema, el mercado, y como sistema destructor está destinado a autodestruirse. Pero así como la religión, pueden crearse nuevas formas adaptativas del sistema (creo yo) y perpetuar unos años más lo que parece ser la insostenible decadencia humana.
Es el sistema también el que nos crea, oh privilegiados acreedores al conocimiento, oh... ¿podremos adelantar su muerte y clavarle una esocada? ¿bastará con levantar voces? ¿podrán los proletariados unidos? ¿existen todavía los proletariados como tales?
debo decir que no lo creo, el pesimismo me invade y creo que la fuerza del sistema es tal que se perpetua hasta en sus detractores, visto así parece un gran y poderoza obra que nadie puede detener, no lo creen?
P.D. I pero hay una pequeña luz en la libertad, sólo que es casi insignificante
